Description
Application and functionality
The vibrating rail is used at critical points in the line where products converge or are fed under pressure, such as pressure single liners, pressure inliners and mergers.
At these positions, bridging of bottles or containers regularly occurs, causing the infeed to stop and potentially blocking the entire line. The controlled vibration continuously loosens and moves the products, creating a stable and even flow towards the next process step.
This makes the vibrating rail an essential component for controlling product flow at points where disturbances have a direct impact on output.

Frequently asked questions about the Shaker Rail 1200
Is the shaking motion adjustable?
The eccentric stroke is fixed and cannot be mechanically adjusted. The shaking frequency can be adjusted via an external frequency inverter in your own control system (not included as standard).
In which environment can the Shaker Rail be used?
The Shaker Rail 1200 is designed for dry environments. For light food applications, a version with a stainless-steel frame and food-grade plastic parts is available.
Which products can be handled with the Shaker Rail?
There is no specific restriction in product shape or format. Jars, bottles, trays, pouches and boxes can all be aligned, spread or stabilised with the Shaker Rail, provided they are suitable for the relevant conveyor line.
What is the maximum capacity of the Shaker Rail?
The Shaker Rail 1200 is particularly suitable for lines with low to medium capacity. For very high line speeds, we recommend reviewing whether an additional buffering or dosing solution is required.
Do I need special controls for the Shaker Rail?
The Shaker Rail uses an electric eccentric drive and does not require complex controls. In its basic configuration, only a suitable power supply is needed. If you want to vary the intensity, a frequency inverter can be applied in your own control cabinet.
Is a hygienic version available?
Yes. The Shaker Rail can be supplied in a version with a stainless-steel frame and food-grade plastic, making it suitable for environments where hygiene and cleanability are important.
